Satara: Srushti Ankush Shinde, a recent BBA graduate from Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Institute of Management Studies & Research, Varye, Satara, has been admitted to Oxford Brookes University, UK for an MS in International Business.
Alumnus Mr. Amol Unune announced a ₹50,000 scholarship in memory of Principal Shankarrao Unune for Srushti. He also mentioned that in the future, every student pursuing higher studies abroad from the institute will be eligible for a similar scholarship.
The event was inaugurated and introduced by Dr. S. S. Bhola, and in his presidential speech, Dr. B. S. Sawant highlighted the institute’s legacy of sending students abroad. Dignitaries wished Srushti a bright future, and Dr. S. R. Nikam proposed the vote of thanks.
The entire event was excellently organized by Prof. Priyanka Shinde and proved to be highly inspirational for the students.
